The shin portion of the sock is slightly cushioned, but the foot portion is thin-, not medium-weight. A good base layer for insulating one's toes, but no good for winter wear on its own.

These socks are soft and comfortable. However, they are not as warm as I expected them to be. But I would definitely buy them again nonetheless

Slippery and warm!

Socks are light, breath well, and don't require a liner because they slip around in the shoe enough to minimize blisters. Good for both summer and winter wear!
