Since everyone's feet are different, I didn't give a five star based on my opinion of the product only. The feel is hard to get used to being a great design in socks. The sock is a tight fit between the big toe and discomforting as it bites in. I will keep trying in hopes they break in, but certainly not for everyone, I'm sure. Price was right so I bought them to try and there you have it. For you, the fit may be just right.

Never had these before, but I have to admit I didn't know what I was missing. LIGHT-WEIGHT ENOUGH TO WEAR YEAR-ROUND but warm & cozy FOR MILDER WINTER DAYS OR AS A SOCK LINER WITH HEAVIER HIKING SOCKS OVER TOP OF 'EM. My feet sweat a lot (which makes me more prone to blister when hiking), but merino wool wicks away moisture to keep feet warm in winter & cooler in summer than cotton socks. Thought the toes would be uncomfortable but realized after hiking in them they are a great benefit particularly if you're prone to blisters. Highly recommend 'em. Just ordered 4 more pair!
