These socks have become my new favorite. Actually, all of the Smartwool toe socks I've gotten are my favorite now. They fit and feel great. Since everyone's feet are different, I didn't give a five star based on my opinion of the product only. The feel is hard to get used to being a great design in socks. The sock is a tight fit between the big toe and discomforting as it bites in. I will keep trying in hopes they break in, but certainly not for everyone, I'm sure. Price was right so I bought them to try and there you have it. For you, the fit may be just right.

Never had these before, but I have to admit I didn't know what I was missing. LIGHT-WEIGHT ENOUGH TO WEAR YEAR-ROUND but warm & cozy FOR MILDER WINTER DAYS OR AS A SOCK LINER WITH HEAVIER HIKING SOCKS OVER TOP OF 'EM. My feet sweat a lot (which makes me more prone to blister when hiking), but merino wool wicks away moisture to keep feet warm in winter & cooler in summer than cotton socks. Thought the toes would be uncomfortable but realized after hiking in them they are a great benefit particularly if you're prone to blisters. Highly recommend 'em. Just ordered 4 more pair!

I wear Smartwool socks almost exclusively, but had never tried toe socks until I bought these. They were easier to get on than I thought they would be, and after a few minutes of feeling a little odd, it was like they became part of my feet...very comfortable and cozy, warm but not too warm, and never ever itchy. Have worn them under heavier socks with boots while shoveling snow, but also wear them like slippers around our chilly house. Some visiting friends were startled to see my feet in these and remarked that they looked like Hobbit feet (due to the color of socks). So, besides being comfortable and warm, you could also say they are "fun."
