I can't take these socks off. Juneau has a cool, damp climate and these are the best. I wear them for everything from running, to skiing, to hiking and walking.

Very nice socks for a great price! Quality comparable to my Injinji socks (which cost much more!)

I wear both SmartWool and Injinji with my Vibram Five Fingers and I'm generally happy with both - I usually get whichever is on sale and am happy. Durability is more of an issue with either brand of toe socks than with regular socks, I guess because there is just a lot more surface area exposed to friction, so more opportunity for failure. Even so, I still like them and keep buying them.

Just as with the quarter crew socks I reviewed, the socks fit well, went on the feet with no issues, but would not serve for the main purpose they were purchased for, which is running. The feel inside is very stiff ribbed texture, so, around the toes that would create extra friction not wanted during exercise. It's a shame, too, because the socks ARE, in fact, very nice/ quality product. My dad, on the other hand, liked them just fine (as I said, not good for running, but for everyday walkabout they're just fine).

Super lightweight, but just enough. I can't wait to try these on warmer walks. I have never warn toe gloves and wasn't sure how weird theses would feel. Got used to it right away. Better for wicking and rub than toe wrapping or mole skin.

I bought these for my daughter to wear in her Vibram toe shoes. She loves them! I purchased based on another review that said they were better than Injini. I have since purchased more.

Wrapping every inch of your foot in a very soft, moisture and temperature regulating material... outstanding!! Absolutely love the SmartWool socks -especially the toe socks ... whether you are wearing toe shoes or not.

Let me start by saying that I used to hate wearing sox of any kind, because I didn't like having my toes squeezed together. I started wearing these micro toe sox to sleep in while wearing cream to moisturize my feet. The 100% merino wool keeps the foot warm in the winter and cool in the summer, and work as well or perhaps better than cotton for holding in the moisturizer. They not only kept the moisturizer on my feet and off my sheets, but with steady use, they started to help keep my toes from overlapping even after I took them off in the morning. Then, I liked these results so much, that I decided to try Vibram Five Fingers toe shoes, which require toe sox if you want to wear sox. So now I wear these toe sox all the time, with or without my toe shoes. Love 'em!
