Microweight vs Midweight

For those of us familiar with the products, the 150g/m^2 microweight products Smartwool produces, it is probably bothersome to hear people say these are "too thin" because it's right there in the description.
I write this mainly to recommend the 250g/m^2 midweight base layer products over the smartwool line of microweight simply because the prices are usually the same for a whole other level of warmth.
