I have different weight Smartwools for different uses. Thinner for casual. Heavier for work or hiking. The prices are good here. I buy in quanity when they are on sale, and like them so much I don't put them in the clothes dryer.

Keen wearers like me will be confused since these do not have "R" and "L" on them to tell what foot they go on. Nonetheless, they are comfortable, and perhaps more stretchy than Keens. Have not had them long enought to know about durability or temperature control

Ask a Question
  • “These socks are 2nds what would the problem be?”
Asked by Anonymous from Unknown on 3/16/2012 12:00:00 AM
    • 2nds are items with barely perceptible blemishes or slight irregularities that do not affect fit, performance or longevity such as an error in the stitching or a slight fading of the product’s color. Labels on 2nds are usually clipped or marked by the manufacturer, and 2nds are often offered at lower prices.

    • Small irregularities in the weave that didn't pass visual inspection on the assambly line. Most of the time I can't find them.
