Reviewed by MJ from Colorado on Monday, May 13, 2013I have the grey and black pairs of these socks. I like these socks, I use them for running and normal wear. The wool is wonderful for temp. regulation and very comfortable. I wanted to try a pair b/c sometimes my toe nails poke the sides of my toes no matter how short I trim them, these work great and no rubbing between my toes either. One complaint I have is that my toes aren't quite as long as the sock toes so sometimes I feel like the seams pull in between my toes and I feel like my toes are curling. I think it's just a matter of getting used to the sensation and will be fine. I was happy to see that the trim color on the black pair is red, seemed more like magenta on my computer screen. Ran a mud race wearing the black ones and they washed clean as new!

I have been happy with many of the Icebreaker and SW socks, so I thought, "why not?" The fit is fine, just a little odd at first. I was walking around work the first time wearing them and thinking, "what is stuck between my toes....oh yeah...." Have worn them a few more times and am getting used to them. They are a very light sock. I have multiple pairs of merino socks now and can't wait to wear them in the summer - they breath soooo well! (and I have stinky feet - not anymore!)
