Reviewed by The Merino Marauder from Brooklyn on Monday, February 24, 2014I normally don't wear orange, but I've gotten a lot of compliments on the color. It's a simple baselayer or tee. I've worn mine one week straight before. Still not musty. If you workout in it, it will stink after a time. Note: don't use the tag loop to keep it hanging for too long; it might mess up the back of the shirt.
Reviewed by Rich from NH on Saturday, October 5, 2013I started using Smartwool shirts for winter hiking and found that the advantages work for summer hiking as well. This is my 3rd one of these I have bought. I sweat heavily when I hike, and these shirts do a better job of wicking away moisture then polypro. When you stop, you don't get that cold feeling that you get with polypro. They dry quickly and are much more comfortable. The also do a much better job of resisting odor. I am gradually replacing most of my polypro shirts with Smartwool. They're not cheap but they're worth it.
Reviewed by jersey jac from New Jersey on Friday, October 4, 2013My husband loved this t shirt from the second he put it on. Fit is true and fabric is fine.
Reviewed by Fred Wantsanelephant from Burbank, CA on Sunday, September 29, 2013SmartWool is high quality. The texture is soft/smooth and the weight is substantial enough to be worn alone. The sleeves and waist are cut a little loose, so as a base layer, it's bulky. The regular price is also quite high compared to other equally strong brands. The only time to buy is with extra STP discounts.
Reviewed by didee99 from Keystone, CO on Sunday, September 15, 2013I purchased this for my husband and it appears to have become his new favorite shirt! I mostly buy Icebreaker products but shirts that I have bought for my husband in size large in this brand seem to shrink in length (cold wash, hang dry) and end up looking like a midriff top (my hubby is more of a size medium anyway). This smartwool top is plenty long enough and the stripes add some interest without being over bearing - love the orange color choice.
