Verified Buyer Reviewed by Equestrian from WA on Wednesday, December 12, 2012I wear these under my riding breeches in the winter. They're warm and not bulky. Since they're the boot top type I don't have to worry about my tall boots being too tight like when wearing heavy winter breeches. Definitely worth having a few pair!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Casey from Minneapolis, MN on Saturday, December 8, 2012I use the product for skiing and it is a surprisingly comfortable, light weight base lay for those mild winter days.
Reviewed by Olive from Big Sky, MT on Wednesday, December 5, 2012I love these boot-top smartwools, they work excellent for snowboarding as my base-layer. I think they're great quality, not itchy at all, and very comfortable. I got a large and they might be a little loose, could have gone with a medium, but really they're perfect, because on a cold day I can fit a tighter fitting long-john under them. Super happy with my purchase!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Outdoor Enthusiast from Scottsdale, Arizona on Sunday, December 2, 2012I am one of those people who is always cold. I have been purchasing Smartwool shirts this year and loving them for the comfort and breathability. When I saw the bottoms (boot top length), I wanted to give them a try figuring I could where them under hiking pants, or under a skirt with boots to stay warm. They are as comfortable and breathable as any tights. These are heavy enough not to show pantylines, but still slim enough to be worn underneath as an under garment. There is nothing about them that indicates "under garment" and I will use these for both hiking under slacks or with a tunic or skirt and boots... I am 5'6" and 120 lbs, and the Small fit perfect.
Reviewed by bmoregal from Baltimore, MD on Monday, November 26, 2012This is not the Smartwool product you'd buy full price in the store; these are irregular or seconds. Material feels terrible, sending back.
