I've worn Smartwool socks and gloves for years but just recently bought my first Smartwool shirt and now am addicted and have a half dozen! I love the zip style so I can regulate air flow and heat dissipation while exercising. Not sure I'd wear this midweight in temps much over 60. During light exercise in 60 degree weather I was almost too warm. It's PERFECT for watching tv when our thermostat is set at 64. I'm 5'11 and the sleeves were too short initially but I was able to stretch them longer when the shirt was wet after washing and now the fit is perfect. I hung the shirt to dry and was amazed at how FAST it dried. The body length is long - I think a short person would find it too long but I believe drying would shrink the length. This is a baselayer and cut like it. I'm normally a size 8 (medium) and find the Large to be plenty clingy, so I recommned going up at least one size, if not two, if you want to wear it as a regular shirt and not an 'undershirt'. The algean blue is just gorgeous. Oh, and how could I forget. I'm actually allergic to regular wool, and other brands of merino wool make me itch, but Smartwool does NOT make me itch - it's almost magic!
