These are super and worth the price. Perfect weight to warmth ratio. They are super soft and have all of the benefits you'd expect from good quality wool (no itching, no odor, wash well). The sizing seems just right too. We will buy more of these.

Merino Wool is by far the best material to wear. We live in a very cold environment and wear this gear daily and have found it to be pricey but worth every cent. While I love some of the synthetics out there we work around cook stoves and in small planes a lot and if you've ever seen what happens to synthetic materials around an open flame you'll be a believer in wool as well.
