Verified Buyer Reviewed by Murrjoe from St. Paul, MN on Wednesday, January 23, 2013I use this while cross country and downhill skiing. Very warm, keeps away moisture, very comfortable to move around in, not restricting. I've wanted this layer for a year now, thanks to Sierra Trading Post for their great sales!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Cyclist/Backpacker from Colorado Springs, CO on Monday, October 29, 2012I have the zip-neck version of this top in 3 colors. All of them are size large which is my usual size in smartwool tops. The zip-necks fit perfectly - I can wear them under a light jacket for cross-county skiing or hiking and then go out to dinner afterwards and take my jacket off and they look great - like a nice sweater, not too tight or revealing. However, this crew-neck version of the same style of top was way tighter than the zip-necks I bought previously. It fits so closely that I will only be using this as long underwear - I wouldn't be comfortable wearing it by itself to go out, it shows everything (like the seams in your bra!) and is not flattering on it's own. I'll be keeping it as a base-layer only but I'm disappointed that it won't be as versatile as the zip-necks.
