It's like a tube sock. They're cute. And while they looked scruffed up on the outside after just one wash, the inside remains lovely and plush and new-looking.

Their feet sweated more in these socks but the socks did not itch. They said that they like their cotton socks just the same as these, so it is probably not worth the extra money to buy them any more. We live in a warm climate. These would probably be great for people who live in colder climates. The socks that say "outdoor" are thicker than the ones that don't say that in the description.
