Not itchy, very warm without making feet sweaty, so the wicking works. Washed well without shrinking (warm setting in washing machine; low setting on electric drier). Very comfortable in regular (sneakers, oxfords, boaters) and hiking shoes. Padding in sole kept balls of my feet and arches from aching when walking distances.
