I wore them on a recent all-day hiking trip where the day started out cold and ended up rather warm. My feet did not once feel uncomfortable, either too hot or too cold. We walked most of the day and I did not incur any abrasions from the socks.They have now been through multiple wash cycles and while they look a little more furry than when they first came out of the package they are holding up nicely. These are my new favorite socks! I am definitely ordering more.
