I love SmartWool socks especially the PHD socks. They gently support my feet, especially my high arch, in all the right places. I wear them all winter for warmth, but also wear them for travel in all but the hottest weather. For a two-week trip, I'll take 5-6 pair and wash them in the sink. They dry fairly quickly -- not always overnight -- but fast enough. They don't bunch up at the toes or heels. SmartWool socks generally are full price at retail stores -- in other words, expensive! They're a huge bargain at Sierra Trading Post but I've never found a thing wrong with them -- no flaws and the size is always correct.
