    My shoe size is 10, so I can usually wear a M or L in smartwool. These came in L only, which give me more room in the calf area. These socks are excellent for skiing, but I live in MT where the winters are long and cold, so I wear these in my everyday boots for grocery shopping, running the kids around, etc.

    I use these socks with some Geox furry lined boots and other winter boots/shoes. They keep my feet toasty and come all the way up to my knees. I have long legs so their height is a real bonus. Also, their colours are bright and fun so you can wear them over leggings with boots and they look cute coming out of the tops of the boots.
