2.0 out of 5 stars. Less than averageVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from New Hampshire on Tuesday, March 3, 2015I have used Smart wool socks for years and was satisfied, This does not fit as well as the ones I still have. Why is it called PhD? Like many PhD in my profesion I know it is expensive and not too useful.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Smartwool PhD sockVerified Buyer Reviewed by gdublongwilly from PA on Friday, February 27, 2015Very comfortable and well built sock. Love smartwool products. Should last a long time if anything like the rest of my smartwool products. Good purchase at a good price!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Super socks at an even superer price. ;-)Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Princeton NJ on Tuesday, February 24, 2015Glad I stumbled across these. I'm not a skier, but they are PERFECT for wearing with my boots when I am shoveling snow. Comfortable, generally stay up on your legs where you want them, and just enough thickness without being too bulky.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Feet Warm & Dry - Good SocksVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from New Jersey on Thursday, February 19, 2015Used these 2X skiing in 20 degrees breaking trail 1st day. Feet were warm & dry. Note: I was also using a new pair of Whitewoods 301 Backcountry Touring Ski Boots which helped. This is a medium thickness sock that is knee high. It was a good fit in the boot. My boot is size 10 and wear a size Large sock. Only time will tell how long they last.
I recommend these socks. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Warm and comfyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from New York on Tuesday, February 17, 2015Haven't tried them skiing yet but appear warm and comfy.
I'm a size 12 and got the Large. XL would've been too big. -

Did not receive itemVerified Buyer Reviewed by No delivery from Michigan on Monday, February 16, 2015The shipping agent claims this item was delivered to my home, but I never received it. I have filed a claim but not heard back. I am definitely not pleased with paying for merchandise that I do not receive!
