5.0 out of 5 stars. Unique look, quality itemVerified Buyer Reviewed by Simply love the outdoors from Bend, Oregon on Thursday, January 28, 2016Well-made, flattering fit. I ordered the small. (I'm 5'5", 115lbs). The sleeves could be a little bit longer, but I may just have long arms. The overall fit is tight, but it works for me. The wool is soft, not itchy. I wore this cross country skiing and it is very comfortable. The chest pocket zipper is grey, not red as shown in the picture. Overall a quality item and a good deal.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice but not as depictedReviewed by WaterGirl from Virginai on Friday, December 11, 2015Normally I wear a M in smartwool and I bought a M in this. If you want to layer something under it then buy your true size, however if you want a snug fit, size down. I was happy with the fit, the sleeves were plenty long for me. I wish it was longer in the back to use for bike riding. The color depicted here (the white) was not exactly as received - mine did not have a red zipper as the photo shows, just grey to match the sleeves. In any case, I sent it back, mostly because I prefer to have a separate vest and shirt rather than an all in one like this. But quality seemed up to snuff.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice sporty style jacket.Reviewed by SFSavvyShopper from San Francisco on Monday, December 7, 2015I really like this jacket. It was a little thinner in weight than I thought it would be, but the quilted front does provide extra warmth in the torso area, while the arms and back are more breathable. So, if you are wearing as a running jacket, I think you would want that. I bought it just to wear as a midweight jacket. I got the medium, but I think the small would have been a better fit for me (5'4", 118 lb, 34B). I have smartwool tops from previous years, which I had sized up to a medium on account of other people's comments about sizing up, so I ended up sizing up on the jacket too. Now there are no more size smalls available for exchange, so I will keep the medium. It is roomy enough that I can wear a midweight sweater underneath. The quality is very nicely made, but the winter white/gray color did not have the purple contrast zipper which I thought was a nice accent to the design. Also, because the white nylon is a thin material, the seam allowance around the zipper shows through the fabric, which makes it a bit less pretty. This probably wouldn't be an issue in the other colors though. Thumb holes worked fine for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Could be better.Reviewed by runsinwoolies from Chicago on Tuesday, November 10, 2015I initially was going to return it, as it's thinner than I was hoping for but now I'm glad I kept it. The natural/gray version looks sharp with every color I wear with it, and it looks good with my bike. As others have mentioned, the sleeves are short; my arms are on the short side of average and the sleeves are just long enough in the size small. I'm 5'4" and 125#, an extra small would likely work in the body but I doubt I could use the thumb holes. Minor complaints- The zipper makes noise during runs if it's not zipped all the way up. I wish the hand warmer pockets were zippered. It could be a touch longer in the back, as the stretchy hem reaches only mid-butt, it'd be nice if it actually covered the entire thing and stayed put. Those things aside, it's become my go to jacket this fall for running and bike rides, and I'm considering buying it in another color.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Lovely, though sleeves are short on meReviewed by Gardengal from Seattle on Tuesday, May 12, 2015I have this in Capri; love the color and trim fit on me. However, at 5'9"+, 165, with long arms (but narrow shoulders), I find the sleeves on size Large are much too short to use the thumb holes, in fact the bottom of the cuff barely even reaches my wrist. I'd say the sleeves fit me a good 2" to 3" shorter than pictured on the model. With significantly longer sleeves, this jacket would be perfect. I'll wear it nonetheless.
