    I love smartwool socks but these are different from the ones I am used to. I purchased these socks full prize earlier in the year and love them, but these irregular ones are nothing like the regular smartwool PH.D. socks, particularly because the lack the thin shin cushioning. They also seem to come up a little higher toward the knee than the regular ones.
