Smart wool is always the best choice

I put my Smart Wool socks away when the weather gets warm to make them last longer. They are required winter garments: warm, washable, durable, comfortable.

Love these socks! Nice cushy thickness - not too thick, not too thin. Warm and attractive. My new favorite socks. I got the green ones because that's what they had in my size.

These are very pretty, nicely cushioned, a good length, and warm. What more can you ask for?

I wear these around the house in winter and they're lightweight enough to not feel bulky yet keep my feet pretty warm. They have a slight wool feel (well, duh, that's what they are), but it's not scratchy. I wear them to bed, too, but sometimes have to kick them off in the middle of the night because my feet get too toasty. They do already have lots of pills on them, even after only one wash and a couple weeks worth of wear, mainly without shoes. I can't really comment on wearing them with shoes since I mainly wear them around the house. Overall, I like them and would recommend them.

I go barefooted all summer and run around in my socks all winter. These socks are slightly thick...cushy...and warm. They still fit easily into all my walking shoes. They are not at all itchy, and I'm sensitive to wool. As always, excellent service and quicker than expected delivery from Sierra Trading Post.

These socks are wonderful for cold midwestern winters. They are nice and warm but not too thick so you can still easily wear them with any shoes, boots etc.

Wool that is soft and not scratchy? Yes, it does exist in Smartwool. These socks are so comfy and keep my feet nice and warm. For the Fall, Winter and early Spring seasons, I will wear no other socks than Smartwool. I've tried some of the other wool socks and they just aren't as good.
