They are relatively thin so don't expect them to be very warm (but I like my feet on the cold side so they fit me well below 0°C).

Reviewed by pat from TX on Thursday, August 09, 2012I only wear Smartwool socks -- since the first pair I wore. The walking sock style is comfortable to wear in summer and winter. It is cushioned enough to wear with riding boots and light enough for sneakers. Great sock. I hope this style never goes away.

Also, unlike another brand my doctor recommended, the cuff does not roll down hurting my leg. Provides the light support needed, stays put and my feet, ankles and legs feel great after a day of work and life.
