Smith Optics Method Polarchromic Sport Sunglasses - Polarized

Excellent shades. I have a pretty big head, so I've had difficulty finding shades that don't crush my temples. These are them. They are snug enough to wear for playing sports and cycling, but I don't feel the squeeze like with other shades. The tint is surprisingly effective and they do a good job on the winter time glare off the snow. If they can handle that, they should be good on the lake or at the beach. They look cool too.

Great product for leisurely outdoor activities. Frame around earpiece seemed a bit short, but overall a good fit!

I did not realize that the lenses are not blacked out. When you look in the mirror, you can see your eyes through the lenses. I expected them to be a darker tint. For this reason, I returned these.

I have worn sliders for years, much of the time with the orange lenses so I prefer a lighter tint. That's good, because the tint on these Polarchromic (grey) lenses is not dark by any means. There is actually very little noticeable change between lighting conditions. Looking at the Smith website it appears that the brown Polarchromic lenses get darker than the grey in bright sunlight. Wife likes the style much better than my sliders which is the real key, and they're comfortable on my medium sized melon.
