Smith Optics Parallel Max Sunglasses - Polarized

Best fitting, most comfortable pair of glasses that I own (and I own quite a few). They fit the shape of my face exceptionally well and the color and darkness of the main pair of lenses works perfectly for bright sun activities (cycling, skiing etc.)

Running

I purchased these in July, 2007 and love them. After wearing them nearly daily for four years, the sticky rubber nosepiece was disintegrating and the polarized lens laminate was starting to peel. I sent them back to Smith with an explanation and they are shipping me a comparable pair, no argument. Now that's customer service! I'm considering buying these as a backup, for half what I payed retail for my original pair.

Nice shades

I have a history with Smith Optics, so really like the durability and style. The interchangeable lenses are very handy, especially the clear lens for when you need eye protection at night. The case was a nice surprise.

Sometimes when snow skiing in a tucked position, you have to look above the glasses and sometimes sun comes in from above the glasses since they are small profile. Great just the same.

Primarily use for riding. Excellent optics. Unique styling.

I only buy Smirh sunglasses and these are on par with all the others I have owned. These have great pariferal protection but still allow sight. I have not had any problems with these glasses but I don't expect any either.

I was a little nervous purchasing these as I bought them for my husband as a surprise and sunglasses could go either way....but he LOVES them. They fit perfectly, the color is awesome, and he loves the different shade tints. He couldn't be happier.

I bought these sunglasses specifically for when I run outside and they're perfect. These glasses have rubberized nosepads and temples and a snug fit that means the glasses stay still and on your face despite vigorous movement. I can't speak to the durability, but these glasses are also extremely lightweight. I think the multiple lenses are rather useless (you get the standard dark tinted lenses, light brown tinted lenses for "intermittent light", and clear lenses for night). I have no use for either the intermittent light or night-time lenses, and can't think of a situation where I'd go through the trouble of switching out the lenses to match these conditions. I have never (and neither do the thousands of other outdoor runners around the world) considered it a major problem to wear dark-tinted sunglasses on cloudy days with sunny breaks. And wearing no-tint lenses at night might be more beneficial for cyclists that want to block out wind from their eyes, but I can't see it being used even 5% of the time for runners. It doesn't help that clear sunglasses look ridiculous.
