It maybe because it's polarized but i have the smith chemist polarized which I did not have problem like this. Its a great looking glasses.

Reviewed by Steve from Charleston, WV on Tuesday, July 31, 2012Cool sunglasses with a design that is a twist on the classic Wayfarer. High-quality, decent weight. Two things to consider...the tint is almost too much on the olive grey version for low light conditions, but great for bright conditions. Also, they will probably fit best on a medium to smaller sized head. My head is "normal" and the fit is a bit snug, which is a plus for exercise but could be a negative for long periods of wear.

Comfortable, hip, and very well made. They fit nicely on my face and haven't taken anytime to get used to them. They have that traditional "ray ban" kind of look, but in my opinion are much improved. The lense tinting and poarization are prefect...they brighten things up a bit while providing rest for tired eyes. Lastly, the frames and hardware on these shades feel super durable! If you like what you see in the picture... you will like them just the same or better when their on your face!
