If I didn't get an extra 40% off with free shipping I would have sent them back. Great price but eyes have to work hard given the sandwich layers involved in photochromic AND polarized lenses. Never had problem with any other major brand but first try at Smith puts them a step below other brands. Very little lens tint change so photochromic is a joke. Not as bright in shade hunting trout using nymphing technique. My 20 year old Babe Winkelman polarized fishing glasses are brighter in shade to see bottom and line sinking tip. Polarized works ok but lenses a bit dark tint. Surprized fly fishing websites have these. Should have got polarized/photochromic driver Serengetis but then they would be just as dark since they're not amber. Is there a quality sunglass to replace my old old Babe Winkelman's?
    • Best Uses: Altitude maybe, Driving maybe, Shopping maybe, Sun light
    • Cons: Dark lens tint, Lens layers affect eyes, Not the sharpest lens, Photochromic NOT
    • Pros: Amber lens, Durable hinges, Flexible frame, Glass lens, Not heavy
