The Smith Sunglasses tradition began long before Dr. Bob Smith struck a deal to manufacture Smith Goggles. His Smith Goggles had been legendary with locals in Sun Valley, Idaho, for years. Initially made around a kitchen table and traded for lift tickets, they were just too awesome to be kept secret for long. After realizing the demand for his technology and innovation, Smith was founded in 1965 with the first ever breathable vent foam and sealed thermal Smith goggles lenses. Soon expanding into Smith Sunglasses as well, Smith ... Learn more about Smith Optics became a force to be reckoned with in the optical industry. Today Smith Sunglasses and Smith Goggles are on par with the best in the world. Tapered Lens Technology (TLT) allows light to travel directly to your eye instead of distorting it along the way, providing enhanced clarity and exact positioning of objects in your field of vision. Other Smith innovations include Fog-X anti-fog coating, PMT ventilation system, and the patented Turbo C.A.M Constant Air Management system. Remaining in the forefront of the industry with breakthroughs such as this has kept Smith Sunglasses going strong and given the name instant recognition worldwide. I bought both the gray and the brown lenses. They are light, fit well on my narrow face, and the clarity of the lens is awesome! Highly recommend.

Very comfortable riding lense with flexible nose bridge adjustment. The lense doesn't sit and cut into my face like other sunglasses do. The three lenses that come with the product covers a wide range of weather for the sunniest to darkest night time riding. At first the changing of lenses felt like the arms or lenses would break, but they snap on with ease and firmness. It comes with a very nice looking and well made pouch to hold all three lenses and sunglasses. A very nice alternative to Oakleys!

Smith Optics seem to know their stuff because this pair of sunglasses is my best; I even prefer them to my Oakley's, and that's saying plenty.

These seemed like junk. The lens is smaller and one which you would only use in really low light.

I purchased this helmet right before a trip to Breckenridge and I must say it's great. I didn't get to take full advantage of all the features (ie the vents), but not only does this helmet look great but it performs great too. Being my first time riding I figured I would fall a lot, and I did; this helmet saved my head from some nasty hits. It also comes with a sack to carry it around/protect it which is pretty nice. On the downside, I originally had a pair of Native goggles that were not too large but they didn't fit with this helmet and I had to return them. I ended up buying a pair of Smith goggles while in Breck and, go figure, they fit with this helmet. With that said, I had no issues with the goggles moving around and the clamp on the back worked fine.
