Snow Angel Alterra Zip Turtleneck - Long Sleeve (For Women)

I tried this on one more time before returning it for being too small, and then realized it is sized perfectly as a base layer, not as an outer layer. As a base layer it fits as a comfortable second skin adding warmth without bulk. It does not bind, and the finish does not grab the layer over it. The blue green color with black trim adds lively color to my white, black and red zip turtlenecks that I wear for sports. I would not wear it alone unless I hadn't an ounce extra on my torso. I apologize if I put anyone off from buying this with my negative review. I love wearing it so much, I just bought another in small, the same size in my previous review.

2 stars because of fit. I wanted this shirt for cool weather running. I'm 5'6, wear a 34B bra. I consistently wear a small top, with occasional exceptions. But why, oh why, didn't I pay attention to the reviews. The small in this was at least one, probably two sizes lower. Only a thin, small boned person could get into this shirt. If you fit that description, you will have a pretty shirt at a good price. I would recommend this to a friend if I knew anyone that small, but I don't think I do. It would probably be better suited to a junior size young teenager.

Simply as a top, the fit is great. But, layered...the item becomes a bit more snug than a size small should be.

Medium too snug a fit for me.

I wear this top out shopping and running around town. It is very flattering and fits well. It also keeps me warm enough that a jacket isn't required! Love it!
