    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I bought these for my two and four year old sons. They are tall for their age. However, the collar edges obstructed their field of vision. It was an odd fit. Usually the jackets are too short in the torso, but they were fine in this area. I'm going to stick with Columbia jackets. They seem to fit toddlers and little boys perfectly.

    My son outgrew his old Snowdragon coat and it worked so well for us that we ordered another. He loves it and it works well for the kind of warmer, wet weather we usually have as well as for layering over sweaters and fleece for freezing weather. This line has a feature where you can let out the cuffs to lengthen the arms, but I found that the torso became too short on my son before the arms were too short.

    We bought this coat for my 5 year old son. The primary use is an outer layer for skiing. I think that this will be a good coat for 90% of the ski season (except very warm spring conditions). It fit well (true to size). The boy liked it & will wear it.
