However, something about the design that my foot did not fit with - my heel did not line up correctly and seemed like it was difficult to keep my heel in the middle of the shoe.

I would say they run a tad small. I wear a size 6 or Euro 36 almost every time. I wish I had gone up a half size, but I can wear these with my foot going ALL the way to the back of the clog. They may loosen up at the front of the shoe enough with wear that could correct the situation. These shoes are very stable to walk in and give you height without pushing your foot to the front of the shoe. Yes, I would buy again only ordering a half size up. (Gave 4 stars only because they run that LITTLE bit small.)

The pair that I received (in the red) had the seam on the right shoe definitely off center. The fit seemed a bit too loose for my somewhat narrow foot, so the combination ended up with these being returned.

They are a touch large but too much hassle to send back. The footsole is cushy and they are not too loose like many clogs. They will be ok to wear to work but I don't love them.

The insoles are nicely padded and soft, true to its name. I first ordered a brown pair, and it bothered me that the center stitching was slanted and not sewn straight. Also the color was a little too reddish for my taste, so I exchanged for a black pair. This time, there was a weirdly wrinkled/bumpy spot on the insole. So I'll have to exchange again. If you get a good pair, I'd say they're great; although they give you some height, they are totally comfortable. The manufacturing may not be so even, though, so you may have to get more than one pair.

I reordered a full size up (I wear 7 and ordered an 8) and hope they will work. They were also too short, but that was mostly because of them being too narrow to get my foot comfortably all the way into the shoe. I will add another review once I get the larger size. I have other Sofft clogs and they are wider. I am wondering if I somehow got a mislabeled narrow.
