Verified Buyer Reviewed by WP from Texas on Wednesday, July 23, 2014Haven't taken it out for any field experience but so far it seems sturdy and durable. I really like that the base of the tang is designed to be used like a hammer.
It does have two downsides: (1) the blade came VERY dull (2) there isn't a lanyard to put around your wrist...
So pull out the whetstone and just be careful when you take a full swing.
Reviewed by P Williams from Indiana on Sunday, April 27, 2014Not too heavy, pretty sharp, sheath is high quality. No problems, I strap it to the side of my pack in case we have to bushwhack.
Reviewed by Griff from Washington on Tuesday, April 1, 2014Excellent addition to my "brush" tools. The saw side seems functional - but I have not used it yet.
Reviewed by Mike from New bedford MA on Monday, March 31, 2014Extremely sharp and light. Nice weight on the handle.. Perfect for chopping zombies!
Reviewed by Michael from North Carolina on Thursday, February 13, 2014Nicely constructed and sheathed. Keep the saw guard attached when storing.
Reviewed by John from Sandy, UT on Thursday, February 6, 2014The Blade and handle are solid and i believe will work great. I would have given it 5 stars if the scabbord had two tie down loops instead of just one. But I have figured out how to attach it to my backpack and will feel more comfortable with it along side on long treks.
Reviewed by Dale from Minnesota on Wednesday, January 22, 2014Quality is very good, should work well for trimming dead branches on my wooded property. Price was a steal.
Reviewed by flo10fool from Oregon on Monday, January 20, 2014Great handle and case. can't wait to use it in the outdoors. Did a great job cleaning up the yard!
Reviewed by Ddd from Arkansas on Friday, December 20, 2013I was cutting stuff and the blade chipped off and the other part bent back and later broke off. I would recommend a BG machete instead of this one the only good thing is the saw on the back and the sheath it comes with.
