Reviewed by Practical EDC from Lyons, CO on Wednesday, October 24, 2012With STP's frequent sales and promotions, this knife can be purchased for less than $20, which makes it a great choice for Every Day Carry. It's sturdy, and has good glass-reinforced nylon textured handles. Although it's an apparent rip-off of the Spyderco Endura, it achieves many of the same functional benefits; so I say imitation is the best form of flattery in this case.
The opened-top hole cut into the blade can be easily modified with a Dremel tool to create an Emerson Wave-like opening system. I've done this (pictured) and am very happy with the result. Overall, this is a good value.
- Best Uses: EDC, Utility
- Cons: chinese made, Flimsy Clip
- Pros: Inexpensive, Plain Edge, Serviceable, Tip-up Belt Clip
Verified Buyer Reviewed by A Fabricator from Oakland, CA on Monday, May 7, 2012I was disappointed with the quality of the steel in this knife and concerned that it will not take and hold an edge of the sharpness I was expecting. Additionally, the clip is not as sturdy as it should be, and bent when I brushed past a wall with the knife in my jeans pocket. SOG has gone downhill from my recollection of its quality 10 years ago.
- Cons: Clip rather weak, Poor quality steel

Very sharp out of the box so haven't need to sharpen it yet.
- Cons: none
- Pros: Good Feel, Handles well, Light Weight, Slim Design
