Well I guess it's just perspective and the fact that I didn't read the specs but this knife is much larger than my needs. That being said it's not the fault of the manufacturer or STP. It seems like a quality knife and I can see no reason to give it less than 5 stars. I won't be using this knife ... Read More
Verified Buyer Reviewed by mudbug from WI on Sunday, November 23, 2014Still evaluating, had it for a few weeks. Resharpened nicely. Long comfortable handle, and notched metal where I rest my thumb.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ski Freak from Michigan on Sunday, October 19, 2014This knife is light and carries well when walking, hiking or running. The blade is sharp and the handle fits my hand well. A nice value for the money.

I won't be using this knife ever probably but I'll put it with my camping and emergency gear.
Reviewed by Sean from Kentucky on Monday, October 21, 2013This knife is very sharp and fairly lightweight. I keep this in my climbing pack to clean up the crag from old webbing and other worn out items. It cuts through rope and webbing like butter. Great knife for what I needed. The only downside is the nylon sheath tht comes with it. I'll be looking for a better sheath to replace it.
Reviewed by Morgan from Western NC on Sunday, August 11, 2013At around $40 I had to give this 5 *s. Its spartan but really good all around outdoor knife. Good AUS-8 is tough and holds its edge fairly well. Its full tang, another plus for toughness. Grips are good and tough, and well textured to hang on to it in wet conditions. Blade is a good lenght and shape with a drop tip point. And a good balance between thickness and weight, as we know there's always that tradeoff for equipment. And the features strike a good balance for camp, fishing, hunting, bush and survival. Not tacti-cool, but a get-r-done tool. And a steal at this price.
