I have foot & boot Generally only wear Boulets or Corrals. Hesitantly ordered these fully expecting to have to return them. Put them on...they fit like a glove...and I have wide feet! Wore them for a couple hours, having older shoes along so I could change when my feet started to hurt. ... Read More

  • “What is the difference in color between Black and Black cow? ”
Asked by thomasjnj from michigan on 8/9/2015 5:04:13 PM
    • Not much difference in color, really, the Black Cow had more waxy white stuff on it (rubs off I assume, did not try) and the leather was a little stiffer. I love these boots, I put Leather Honey on them and have worn them a whole lot since they came in a few months ago, they are still beautiful, as well as durable and comfortable. I have these in black and now brown. Love them!!

    • I have the black pair, but I'm thinking that the black cow is more like a charcoal. If you plan to purchase these boots I'm sure you'll love them. I had a hard time finding my size, because I generally wear an 8 In the Sonora I need the 7.5. Wish I knew more about the color, but the quality of the boot in any color is very good.

    • No, the strap is stitched in next to the zipper. Unless you are willing to cut the leather there, it is not removable.

    • The strap is sewn in on the side where the zipper is, and the metal stud is not a snap, but just a kind of rivet attachment, so the answer is no, unless you had a shoe repair store remove it permanently.

    • The strap is not removable and it's a false snap. The strap moves it is attached in the front and back on either side of the zipper.

About Sonora

There are a lot of fantastic western boot brands to choose from out there, which means you may be wondering why you should choose a pair of Sonora boots. The answer is simple: Sonora cowboy boots are some of the most stylish and well-made on the market today. Handcrafted by highly skilled artisans in Mexico, Sonora boots feature double-stitched and triple-stitched seams for lasting durability. Other features, like rivet accents, ornate shaft and toe stitching, glove-soft leather linings and tooled leather soles, lend a distinctive look not often experienced with other boot brands.
