Reviewed by Busy Mom from St. Paul, MN on Monday, December 2, 2013We have not tested these in the snow yet, but they are warm and surprisingly light compared to other pac boots we've had. Makes walking to the bus stop easier. Very cute too!
Reviewed by Apple Valley from Massachusetts on Tuesday, October 1, 2013These seem great- both parents wish that they came in our size. Too bad they don't have an extra set of liners so one can dry while the other travels back out into the snow.
Reviewed by eastlakes in the snow heaven from french alps on Monday, July 22, 2013moved to the french alps last summer2012 and after experiencing our first winter living at 1350m altitude(6 months of snow cover), we realised the most important thing, is to have dry, warm feet! sorel appeared to be a popular choice in this region so i started to trawl the internet... sierra have a wide range of styles at fantastic prices and discounts so i purchased a pair each for myself and two daughters.. we cannot comment on wear as it is now july, but i am very pleased with the design and obvious quality of the product, after having worn thru several pairs of much lower quality of boot last winter i cannot wait for the first snowfall this year! i have no doubt we will all enjoy the coming winter with dry, warm feet!!
for reference i would usually wear a us7.5(europeon 39) and after reading previous reviews ordered the us7 which are perfect! and for my daughters the sizing is spot on!
Reviewed by CoMoMom from Missouri on Wednesday, March 13, 2013These are beautiful, well-made boots, but the bottoms were way too heavy for my 4th grader. I even agreed when I felt the weight. The appearance and easy lacing were so tempting, the fleece lining so beautiful and thick, and the price was less that half of retail, but the weight of the bottom of the boot was too much to overcome for a young girl. We don't really get all that much snow here, so these would only occasionally be worn. Lighter weight boots will do.
Reviewed by Outdoor Mama from Duluth, MN on Monday, March 11, 2013I sent an earlier pair of Sorels back as they were thin AND had a steel shank (to suck out any warmth value). These, HOWEVER, are WONDERFUL! Cute (and thus approved by my daughter), thick felt liner and quality construction (approved by me!) We live in northern Minnesota and wanted WARM, dependable boots-- got that in these.
