Sorel -25°F Tootega Winter Boots - Waterproof (For Women)

Warm and Waterproof for cold and wet weather.

These boots are great for getting around in snow. My only slight complaint (and it is really slight) is that they don't have the greatest traction on ice but this also applies to most other boots as well.

I love wearing these boots with capris...super cute. These are the last pair available anywhere--a size 5! Normally I'd take at least a 6.5 on shoes, at least a 5.5 on sandals, but luckily these boots run big so I took a chance and I'm glad I did. Just can't wear any socks in them, tight squeeze. I wish Sorel would make more of these style, they're really the best looking winter boots out there. I own an Emu and Ugg...they don't compare to these Sorels.

I live in the cold and snowy northeast and have circulation problems so I need a boot that is warm! This one fits the bill. Easy on and off, warm and cozy and waterproof too. I just might buy another pair to have in reserve.

Make some more of these boots. I want to buy about five more pairs!

At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep these. They look like big blocks on your feet and it was VERY hard to get in and out of if you tightened the straps. So I kept them and keep the straps open and they are not optimal in fit but easier to get in and out of. They are warm but don't breathe. They are very comfy without socks. Happy I kept it.

Well, as a Sorel lover, I was very disappointed to wear these boots. Not only are they uncomfortable, but they make my footing unsecure. My socks rode down to my toes while walking in the boots. It was just an outing to get a christmas tree, and I couldn't wait to get home to get out of the boots! They are waterproof, as I found out when I didn't read the directions and tried to waterproof them with a product. Liquids do just run off. I do like the look of these boots, but overall, I would not be happy wearing them any length of time.

The ankle straps are hard to use, plus two of the four straps broke after only a few wearings! The suede material used is too thin and stretchy and not able to take the stress of the metal ring "tighteners". I had to fashion my own straps out of nylon webbing in order to salvage the boots. They do not have any support, so are somewhat uncomfortable.

Okay so first of all I am from San Diego, and I moved to Connecticut. So saying that you can guess that I am newby when it comes to cold. Second these boots are amazing! I received them in the mail the other day and already wore them out. It's not snowing yet, so I don't know about the warmth in the snow, but I do know that they do not look like snow boots. That makes me happy that I can wear these boots with no snow outside and it doesn't look like I'm freezing! These boots are not only amazing, they are comfortable, light weight and very, very warm! Get them while you can!!
