I live on an island in Southern Maryland and when it rains the yard is a marsh. I wanted something to keep my feet warm and dry and I believe this is just what I was wanting.

My previous pair of Sorels are 15+ yrs. and are still in good condition after using for snowy and mucky horse care chores. Sorels are the "ONLY" boots I've ever found to keep my feet warm. This pair with the sheepskin lining are "above and beyond" for comfort and warmth and are beautiful with the elkskin uppers, (needless to say these aren't going to worn in the barn)! I hesitated to keep these only because I just purchased another brand of sheepskin lined boots, but after these arrived I couldn't part with them. They even look cute with jeans and they don't make my feet look big which are narrow to medium size 7. Don't miss out on these, I'm glad I didn't! [...] thanks STP.

These were the best boots I've ever seen, unfortunately I had to return them because they were too heavy for me, and I am not that active any more. (but if I was, I would definetly go with these (the Best!)

Although I still wear my Arctic Pac Sorel boots from the late 70's, I noticed that the tread was finally getting worn and I was losing traction on ice. Those boots kept my feet warm for many MN winters. Since Sorels last so long, I thought I would invest in the deluxe model. The leather is just beautiful and I enjoy the extras. I haven't tested them in extreme cold yet, but they look like they will do just fine.

They feel like my feet were made for them. I didn't have to break into them at all, they were an immediate perfect fit. I bought a size smaller and they fit just right. They are so warm, you don't feel the cold in the least and walking through the snow is easier than through anything else. Moreover they're really gorgeous.
