These are very attractive boots. The color is perfect with denim and the leather trim is icing on the cake.
Having said all this...they ran big and as much as I was tempted to keep them they went back.

These boots are better than you can imagine. These are my second pair! I bought the last pair 18 months ago and they have held up beautifully. They are amazingly warm and cozy. I live in the Colorado mountains, and I get tired of lugging around heavy boots all day. These are light and they don't feel like work to wear. They are fine for dry powdery snow, but I wouldn't wear them in slush. Every where I wear the them people compliment them and ask me where I got them. I am normally a 10.5-11 and I ordered size 10. My only complaint is that the side straps hang too long from the buckle, but they can be trimmed.

I've not worn these in the snow yet, but they seem like they will be quite warm. They're stylish enough to be worn as everyday boots in the winter. I am usually a true 7.5, but I ordered these in a 7 and I think that was the right choice because they seem to fit perfectly (a little bit snug but I know they'll stretch out).
They are ok for traction not the worst but not the best. I have worn them on ice they are ok. They are very warm and fit great. I walk 2 miles a day and have worn these they do well.

They do have great traction, but I will tell you that the ankle support isn't so great in these boots. I went hiking in them and had sore ankles by the end of the trail- about 3 miles tromping in snow.

No - I slipped on ice. But on snowpack they are ok. The tread is in the pattern of snowflakes, and is shallow.

The soles are relatively flat but I have worn them out shoveling snow and on ice and never slipped.

Not really :( they are a little slippy on ice.
