This boot appears in reality just as it does in the picture. The colors are cute and I think it is very different from other boots I've seen. They are cute to stuff jeans or pants into. My only negative would be the calf area (as you can see in the pic) is kind of thick. I have thinner calves so I feel it makes them seem a bit less feminine, especially since they're flats.

I waited a long time to get these boots on sale. When I finally received them, they were just too baggy around the ankles. Though these Sorel boots were initially overpriced, though are really well made and are built to last. If you don't have slim ankles like I do, they are definitely worth getting. Not waterproof, but really warm and great for walking around in winter weather in colder climates.

Got a compliment from my stylish friend! These boots are great for our wet cold climate. They feel good without socks, when you want to run to the store or to yoga :).
They go with so much as they have shades of gray and blue in the fabric, and the brown in the leather trim. They fit a bit loose as I have "low volume" feet , but are true in length to my size. Sorels tend to run a tad big for my skinny feet !
They are ok for traction not the worst but not the best. I have worn them on ice they are ok. They are very warm and fit great. I walk 2 miles a day and have worn these they do well.

They do have great traction, but I will tell you that the ankle support isn't so great in these boots. I went hiking in them and had sore ankles by the end of the trail- about 3 miles tromping in snow.

No - I slipped on ice. But on snowpack they are ok. The tread is in the pattern of snowflakes, and is shallow.

The soles are relatively flat but I have worn them out shoveling snow and on ice and never slipped.

Not really :( they are a little slippy on ice.
