Sorel Cold Mountain Winter Boots - Insulated (For Women)

The traction and warmth are very good on snowy areas. Add ice grippers for black ice areas. Lace tightly for prolonged walking.

I wore these boots to cut our Christmas tree. My feet stayed warm. My only complaint would be that the top of the boot does not "cinch" tight enough and is loose. So if I was in deep snow conditions, I probably will wear my gators.

I have not used these yet and actually do not have a lot of use for boots as the winters are getting more mild. But, I did need to be prepared with boots that I could use in the snow and for snowshoeing. I am hoping these will work ok. They are nothing special and rather inflexible and do not have any fleece to make them czy.

I've had a pair of snow boots for 10 + years, and decided it was time for a new pair. These seem comfy and warm and with the snow in the Denver area tonight, I"m sure I'll get to try them out soon.

I have not gotten to wear the boots yet, but I am going to Boston for Christmas and knew that I needed some warm boots for snow. Living in Houston we don't have that kind of weather here so I asked my friend in Portland and she told me that I had to get Sorel boots. I even told my sister the same thing. My mom is going to buy herself some for Christmas time as well!

My size 10 Columbia Bugaboots finally failed on me (separating between the rubber and leather), and I wanted to replace them, but I hated the new Bugaboot style. These are a similar style with the waterproof rubber shoe, which is very useful in wet weather. The size 10 fits true, and these even seem cushier inside. Winter is not yet upon us here in Alaska, but I have high hopes for these. As I did with the Bugaboots, I plan to strap my Yak-Trax on these when it gets icy out. These are my primary shoe from Nov through Mar for everything from work to walking on the beach to snowshoeing.

These were much lighter than I had expected, even when I had read all the positive comments of previous buyers. A huge plus! Don't have snow yet, but look to be sturdy and they feel very warm. I think these will be great to depend on once snow hits.

I have been wanting a better pair of boots. Nice fitting and comfortable. These boots will do the job this winter to keep my feet warm. Thank you STP for named brands offered at awesome prices!

I'm taking a trip skiing out west this December, and I'm looking forward to putting on these hip boots after I get off the slopes!

The shoes were true to size.
