No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“Upon arrival one of the cinch straps at the top of the boot was already disconnected. Not an important feature and since it was already winter I put them to use at work. Within 3 weeks the leather upper started to separate (tear) from the rubber lower on the same defective boot. I had peviousely owned sorel boots that lasted for years of hard use. 3 weeks of light duty before their untimely death did not cut it for the price.”
