Reviewed by feet first from alberta on Monday, April 08, 2013i got my first pair after trying on my nephews boots - the same ones. he paid a small fortune for his while i scored a terrific price through STP. i loved them so much that i ordered a second pair. they are warm and light and very comfortable in weather to -20c. from snowclearing to dog walking or schlepping through slush they have been a perfect boot. i only found them to be quite warm when indoors for a large amount of time - shopping in malls.

But the seams under the stretch part aggravated my ankle. One really surprising thing was that the stretch material really is waterproof. I splashed some water on them and it beaded right up. Intrigued by that result, i submerged the up to within an inch of the top and it stayed completely dry inside. Quite remarkable for stretchy stuff. Good fit and finish. I was undecided about the styling, which is unique.

I enjoy the looks and fit of these boots. They are a quality boot that is worth the extra money. They run a little large but it works for thicker socks. I recommend these for work or play.

Wore them for several hours in cold weather (with wool socks) and said they were warm and comfortable. He likes the way the look: more refined than other boots. And also likes that they're easy to get on and off. No laces to mess with. He's going to treat the leather so that they don't get stained in snow or rain.

Versatile, good grip. They're lightly insulated, so if you're indoors where it is fairly warm you'r feet might get a little hot

Reviewed by mrsfunkarty from minnesota on Friday, January 11, 2013I bought a pair of these for my husband to wear here in Minnesota for "dress winter" boots- not trekking or serious outdoor gear, but here we have a need for things like "walking to church" boots or "walking to dinner" boots where wearing heavy-duty snow boots would look ridiculous but where you'd still like to have some added traction and warmth. He loves them so much he has worn them every day since they arrived- and so I ordered a pair for myself. I can confirm they are very comfortable and look great. Like all pull-on boots they slip a bit at the heel but as a woman I am used to that from wearing rain boots, etc. So men: if you've never tried pull-on boots before, that feeling may be new to you. But these are great.
