5.0 out of 5 stars. I LOVE these boots

I love these boots. They are lightweight and stylish. It hasn't been cold enough for me to judge how warm they are or how waterproof but I expect I'll be wearing them a lot this winter - great with casual skirts and jeans.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Wear & style

I bought a pair 3 years ago now; they are wonderful! They have proven to be warm even when worn with one pair of socks! Wade through the water for a real test: they can stand up to it and not have a water mark! I am looking to order another pair before I wear mine out.

Great looking and warm, not 30 below cold, but nicely insulated. Fits true to size.

These are great boots. Comfortable and stylish when worn. The only draw back is that it is a little tough to slide your feet into the boot. Needs some tugging and adjusting , but once feet are in the comfort is fabulous. Stays pretty true to size and I love walking around with them.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. GIve it time

These boots are stylish and warm. The initial complaint from many is that they are difficult to get on at the ankles. My daughter reports that over time, this area loosens up just enough to make putting them on easier.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Ankle too narrow

I thought they were cute but the ankle is so narrow it makes it hard to get on.

About Sorel

Canadians know a thing or two about cold weather, so it's not surprising they were behind one of the most popular cold-weather boots ever created. Sorel - founded in Kitchener, Ontario, in 1962 - is perhaps best known for the ubiquitous Caribou, a boot that pioneered the use of a unique material that reflected heat back to the foot. This reflective material was incorporated into Sorel's advanced four-layer construction process that includes a weather-resistant shell, wicking liners and ThermoPlus® felt inner liners to keep feet dry and toasty. Now nearly a century old, Sorel continues to meet the rigorous demands of today's active lifestyles - from snowmobiling to snowshoeing, sledding to skiing - with its highly respected line of footwear and apparel.
