“I love these boots. During a winter snow storm my feet were always toasty. They are very easy to get in into and out of. While the lacing system on them is very easy to to do, there is not a quick lacing system. I am able to lace efficiently and tightly with gloves on.
After the snow storm passed, the weather was wet and slushy for weeks. We still have snow on the ground and the boots were very warm and dry.
I did experience some discomfort in my toes from squatting because of the rubber shell toe box. But that broke in after a few days. They do come a half size small. I wear 11.5 wides and I bought 11. I still have room for two pairs of socks - a heavy sock and a thinner sock with a nice amount of wiggle room. I am also a pronater and the arch support in these boots is quite good.
My only problems are that the great ankle support means that these boots are a bit tough to drive in at first. You have to get used to changing your foot position on the accelerator for touch driving. They do tend to let my feet build up a little bit of sweat even though they breathe okay. Truly waterproof comes with a price. If I could award half stars, this boot would get a four and a half star rating from me. I love them.”
