“Great compromise between warmth & style”

“Sized true with enough room for a warm sock, these shoes worked beautifully on first uses in damp, muddy, 30's weather. My feet get cold easily, but these are warm without being clunky. They also seem to have great support: I stood outside for hours in them the first time I wore them without any penalty! The only issue after 2 wears is the wool (or whatever material) at the top has started pilling. I pulled a sizable clump off each inner ankle. Not enough to make me return the boot, but a little surprising. Will watch to see if it compromises top of shoe.”
