These boots seemed like they would be really warm, but definitely were not as cute as they appeared in the picture. They were very wide in the toe area, and make your feet look sort of like paddles. Also, the pair I got was defective: there was a wrinkling of the waterproofing layer on the top of the foot, which made a bulge that rubbed uncomfortably.

LOVE these boots! Sorel boots are fantastic but alas, not the most dainty items on your feet. If looking for cute little fashionista boots, keep looking. These boots are light weight, toasty warm, and out of this world for those of us looking for function over high end fashion (they are cute too!).

About Sorel

Canadians know a thing or two about cold weather, so it's not surprising they were behind one of the most popular cold-weather boots ever created. Sorel - founded in Kitchener, Ontario, in 1962 - is perhaps best known for the ubiquitous Caribou, a boot that pioneered the use of a unique material that reflected heat back to the foot. This reflective material was incorporated into Sorel's advanced four-layer construction process that includes a weather-resistant shell, wicking liners and ThermoPlus® felt inner liners to keep feet dry and toasty. Now nearly a century old, Sorel continues to meet the rigorous demands of today's active lifestyles - from snowmobiling to snowshoeing, sledding to skiing - with its highly respected line of footwear and apparel.
