I've never owned any Sorels before, and had expected a bit more heavyweight leather in the light tan color. While chukkas I've worn from other brands have had thincker leather, they have still been soft/pliable right out of the box. The leather of the Kingstons felt much, much thiner and stiff. From the excellent reviews, I assume they might break in, but I've decided my previous brand will likely be the better choice for my foot.

Have only had them for a week and a half or so, but I've worn them almost every day, in just about every weather. Good for cold, snow, rain, or anything. They were comfortable to begin with, but after a few days of use they are even more so.

They fit my 11.5D feet perfectly, roomy but not too roomy. They are light, warm and as comfortable as any tennis or running shoe. The upper is perfect height and the notched, cushioned back is super comfortable. They break in really quickly. First walk was about 2 miles and my feet felt great. Highly recommend them.
