The inside foot bed has a wonderful cushion. They are perfect for casual wear. They seem to resist dirt and road salt very well. She has been wearing her pair most days for about two months now. I purchased a pair for myself. The youth 7 fit a women's 8 1/2 to 9 well. My only complaint is that the heel is a bit stiff and has the potential to rub the achilles. This happened when my daughter wore short socks. We love these shoes!

But my daughter has literally worn hers out after two seasons, so I'm buying the next size up. Perfect for winter days at school when they need to change out of snow boots and into classroom shoes. Great value.

I sent them back and asked for a size 6. still too big. they are not for kids - as the European sizing on the side of the box said they were size 38's. In US sizing, that's a size 8 - not for kids.
