Wear in cold conditions, keeps feet really warm and dry, easy to slip into after skiing at snow

These are comfortable, well-padded and warm. They're kind of unusual looking, too, in a hip way. Love the bright green accents! I don't like snow (I'm a Californian living in Pennsylvania) but snow days will be improved now that I can wear my cool shoes.
    • Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow
    • Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living
    • Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm

Ordered the shoes in brown last month and loved them so much, I came back for the black pair. These shoes are a bit snug at the opening, but after a few wears they give enought to be just right. Size seems to be just right too. Love these shoes on cold days just lounging around or for running errands.

These shoes are warm and comfortable. I've walked a couple miles in them - no blisters, good support. My daughter thought the white on the toes made the shoes look quite clunky - they are for use in the snow and cold so being stylish is't the highest priority.

They are warm. The sole is very bulky. Twice I caught them on a rug and fell - thing it may be due to the lack of flexibility.

    Will be donating them.

  • Question “What temperature is the shoe rated for, i.e. 20 degrees F etc.”
Asked on 10/30/2011 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown
    • Answer Because what temperature shoes will feel comfortable in is largely variable, these Sorel shoes don't have a temperature rating. However, they are waterproof and insulated so these shoes should keep your feet warm in cold winter conditions, provided that you're not in snow that is deeper than the shoe is tall.

  • Question “do these shoes/boots run true to size?”
Asked on 9/17/2011 12:00:00 AM by lolasmom from syracuse,ny
    • Answer Yes, these run true to size. If at any time the Sierra Trading Post shoe experts determine that a shoe does not fit exactly as the manufacturer claims, they add a "size note" at the end of the irregularly sized shoe. A size note will indicate to buy a slightly larger or smaller shoe than the size you expect to normally fit you.

    • Answer yes, if you are wearing thin socks or no socks. If you want to wear thick socks you will need a larger or wider size. but don't recommend a thick sock due to the fact that this is a really warm shoe. My feet DO NOT sweat with thin socks.
