Sorel Maribel Winter Boots - Waterproof Insulated (For Women)

I bought these last year in 9 1/2 size based on what other reviewers had written about ordering 1/2 size larger. I sent them back for a 9. I wear 8 1/2 to 9 (my rt foot is longer) and these still feel a little big. I think I could have gotten an 8 1/2. However, I wore my homemade socks with them and they felt great for long walks on snowy winter days. I look forward to wearing them this winter. they are waterproof and warm.

These boots look good compared to other inclement-weather footwear; I don't know how waterproof they are, but they are warm, lightweight and possess good traction. The side zipper allows for easy on/off, the dark-brown color is rich, and the boots themselves are understated. I got a size nine because 8 1/2 was unavailable, but (perhaps because of the insulation and the faux-fur lining) they fit fine (with even a bit of room for thick socks).

Solid costruction, simple, great for everyday cold, wet, or snowy weather.

amazing they dont look like good snowboots, but keep me very dry and are easy to walk in, very light.

Ordered a pair of black size 8.5 in October. Love them. Comfy & warm & perfect. Except that the zipper on the right boot broke only a few weeks after I got them. I ordered another pair in Mud color to replace them [...] and the Mud pair is way too small. I couldn't get them on my feet even though they are the same size as the black ones (on the tag). Going to keep my black ones and get the zipper fixed and am happy with them, but wouldn't recommend them.

The Sorel Maribel Winter Boots were ideal during my recent visit to the Adirondacks. They stood up to the many different weather challenges that we faced. My tootsies were comfortable and stayed warm and dry when wearing these boots while walking and playing in snow, rain, ice, slush and mud. They are not super stylish, just average, slightly heavier in weight than what I expected and slightly bulky looking. However, I was able to use them for casual outdoor wear as well as pairing them with dress slacks for a dressier occasion. They were so comfortable and I did not experience any foot fatigue even after wearing them for 12-15 hours a day. I normally wear a size 6 1/2 but purchased a size 7. I did not have problems with entry or exiting, even while wearing thick wool socks and tucking my jean legs into the tops of the boots. I could foresee a person with a thicker ankle, a wider foot or when using double socking, having difficulty with entry and exit.

Very nice looking and constructed boot. Had to order a size up to get foot in. Very comfortable, warm not overly so. 2nd size fit nicely

I use these for cold, snow, and wet weather. They are hard to get on, but that gets easier with time.Very comfortable. Casual,cute and very waterproof!

The entry and exit of the boot is my only complaint. I believe it is because the leather over the heel area is so stiff, They are warm and good for getting around in snowy areas, comfortable for walking.

returned boots because the zipper is too short making it hard to put the boots on.
